Default question xp64

I have set my bios to boot from
the CD....When I start the system with the CD in the drive it won`t boot
from the CD...I looked for support and ms has none for this ....can

someone
point me in the right direction??
TIA
Jim

The disc doesn't seem to have the proper system files to be able to boot
from it. Make a startup floppy from your previous version of windows and
set the bios to boot from the floppy. You will have access to your cd drive
then and run the xp64 setup program from there.
