Hello, thanks for the monitor help. I am getting a voice modem so I
can use my phone through my PC. Is there any cool software on the
market that can manage phone calls, be an answering machine and where
I can make and receive call via my PC with my headset?

You don't need any extra software to use a headset with a voice modem. Just
plug the headset connectors into the mic and speaker sockets of the modem.
MS Outlook can be used to dial a number from its Contacts database. I did
not find it convenient or comfortable though. A headset attached to a
cordless phone is much more useful.

Faxing and answering machine software such as Supervoice is usually included
on the driver CD otherwise standalone commercial software like Faxtalk or
Talkworks is available but pricey compared to the cost of the modem.

TIA!

Most modems these days come with that sort of software. Usually by
Bitware... (In Australia, anyway...)

If cars had advanced at the same rate as Micr0$oft technology, they'd be
flying by now.
But who wants a car that crashes 8 times a day?

In normally case, the modem usually bundle the necessary software for
fax and voice answering machine purpose.

If you looking for the best, try Symantec's (the maker of Norton
Anti-Virus) TalkWorks Pro. It capable to do fax (Winfax Pro) and voice
answering machine for any calls.
