Changing multiplier on locked Barton - possible?

Have newer Barton 2500+, L1 bridges connected, multiplier is 11, changing multiplier in bios doesn't do anything. I need to run this puppy in a board that supports max 133MHz. I do not need to unlock the processor. I just need to change the multiplier to a fixed value that's higher than 11 (any value 13-21). Just to make sure I got it right: there is nothing that can be done to force this locked processor to run with a higher multiplier? Not cutting some bridges, not connecting pins underneath, nothing, correct? Or is there a trick that I don't know about. The multiplier is locked period. Now you can try the mobile mod if you're up to it. http://fab51.com/cpu/barton/athlon-e24.html -- Abit KT7-Raid (KT133) Tbred B core CPU @2400MHz (24x100FSB) http://wesnewell.no-ip.com/cpu.htm |
