Default GA7N400 P2 iteraid ata driver

Hi,
got a lost of troubles installing "ite ata raid" driver inside win98se with
my new GA7N400 Pro2 (bios F3).
I just want more ide ports and not raid functions, but each time I have
tried to install the driver
system hangs loading it and win98se don't went into gui
menu.
Which is the right step for installing and manual uninstall
ite raid driver?
