geforce4mx440 and dx9a
hey,
new system with geforce 4mx440 128m installed. problems showed up using photoshop Liquify filter. clicking window shows up as a displaced blocked picture taken from other area of pic file I'm working with. told to upgrade to DX9 and upgrade nvidia drivers. did both but same problem. Dx9 definitely installed by checking dxdiag but when I check geforce screen it shows it's using dx8. what gives? read early post that dx9 not helpful with this card. any help most appreciated. thanks M |

Your problem lies elsewhere. I'm not sure it's even a problem with your video card or drivers. Have you tried reinstalling photoshop and patching it? /M |
