Default QDI Legend Briliant 440BX and PC133 memory

Hi,

I have a lengend qdi 440BX motherboard
which is need of memory upgrading I tried installing
512Mb but it only swaw 256Mb when I installed 256
is saw 128Mb any idease ?

I'm not certain, but I expect that:

1) the largest DIMMs usable on 440BX boards are 256 MB, and

2) the DIMMs have to be low density (chips no larger than 128Mb, so there
will be 16 of them).

If you know your exact mainboard type, take it to www.crucial.com. For
example,

http://www.crucial.com/store/listpar...nX+6&submit=Go

(will wrap; paste the pieces together in your Web browser's address line).

I don't know whether Crucial ships worldwide, but I believe that they have a
UK operation.
