Looking for HP laserprinter suggestion

I've been fed up recently with my Laserjet 1100 because of the
pages printing unevenly. I guess this printer has always done this but
more recently I've needed to print invoices and such and have noticed
it a lot more. I've been looking at the HP Laserjet 3055 since it is
an AIO, is a network printer and does not have a cooling fan. My
concern is that this is a front loader but doesn't have a tray that
closes completely like other laserjet printers, which have two clips
on the end. Should I pass on this printer and go with something like
the 2015 and deal with the cooling fan? Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
