Here's a kick in the head - If I connect the internal header on the
new USB card that I got, to one of the front ports on my Antec case, my Lexar Jumpdrive works connected there, but only in USB 1.0 mode..... The USB card is a 2.0 card and all the other ports on it work as 2.0 ports if I connect the Jumpdrive to them. Makes me wonder if their isn't something fishey with those front case USB connectors. I didn't yank the front connectors from the case to inspect them. I treid deleting all my USB devices and scanning for hardware changes to restore them. Still no joy with the front connectors ;-( |
