Problems running setup.exe on Dell Latitude D820 Dual core Centrino
Every setup.exe? Just one? What application?
Go to the vendor's website and look for an update. Some seem to have problems with dual cores. Tom "paulmatchs" wrote in message oups.com... Problems running setup.exe on Dell Latitude D820 Dual core Centrino
Had the same problem and someone posted this:
Program Compatibility Wizard (Start/Help and Support/Fixing a Problem/Application and Software problems/Getting older programs to run on Windows XP/Program Compatibility Wizard) Pick your Office 97 setup program. Choose Windows 2000 compatibility and disable visual themes. That made it run. Worked well for me. |

Problems running setup.exe on Dell Latitude D820 Dual co
620 and 820 has EMBASSY Trust Suite software preinstalled.
It is must be removed to allow certain setup applications to run. Software is design to provide your laptop with exceptional security but had problems integrating with ntvdm. Make sure you dont need it prior to removing. Once removed all your problems should be resolved |
