Default Aggressive BIOS settings

In the BIOS settings of my A7N8X-X amongst the Advanced Chipset Features
I can change the System Performance setting from Optimal to Aggressive.
Having done that I can see a noticable performance increase but am
worried about the the info bit that says it's using overclocked settings.
I want to maximise the performance of the hardware I have obviously, but
it's not crucial and I don't want to do anything to risk damaging my
system. So - is it ok to use aggressive settings or should I just stick
to Optimal?

TIA.

it depend on your hardware
my memory support in agressive mode
a different setting with higher performance but it not like having
twice the performance. i my ppoint of view it will not damage
anything... see the manual for further info my memory support the
166fsb and the 133fsb but for that it change the cas latency from 2.5
to 2 for a 133fsb memory ship ( pc2700)

i suggest to set it at default before doing anything...
