Default video capture on a Ti4400

I've got the splitter that allows s-video in and out, but what do I need to
do to actually capture the video, where would I see the input?

Try vidcap32.exe http://www.zoltrix.com/PUBLIC2/FTOFACE/vidcap32.exe

Also http://www.shrinkwrapvb.com/ezvidcap.htm
