Default Display problem with my laptop

Hello,

I tried to use the ATI driver for Linux with with Dell Inspiron 8200 and
I had a problem. Then the screen doesn't display anything (it keeps
black), but externl screen work great.

When I try to do Fn+F8, the external screen sets to black, then after a
pause comes back. But nothing happens to the internal screen.

I'm wondering if the graphic card hasn't simply locked internal screen
to protect it or something else...

DOes anybody know how to reset the card or the computer completely (a
kind of Clear CMOS) ?

Thanks

Salut,

Merci

@+

You can go into the bios and change it. Sounds more like
a driver or configuration setting
in linux
