I took the plunge ...
To any nVidia users lurking on this NG wondering whether to go to ATI
Radeon for their next card I would say go for it. I've replaced my PIII/700 GeForce4 MX with an Athlon XP 2600+ and Radeon 9600 Pro / nForce 2 based box. The former could barely handle UT2003 in 800x600 with all the eye candy off.
