Default Voltage problem with asus a7n8x-x and barton 2500+

Hello,

I ve just upgraded to this motherboard and
my vcore voltage is 1.73 though it should be 1.65V.

I tried to set it manually at 1.65, but i m still at 1.73V in the
bios and asus probe.

Anybody has the same trouble ?

Thanks for your answers.

I think that it should be @1.7v for the barton
so 1.73 isnt too bad, but the 1.65 will probab be unstable

Bartons default voltage is 1.65

Yes mines similar. set at 1.65 but it's reported as 1.71. Seems to
be one of those quirks.

The hardware monitor chips aren't 100% accurate, so voltage may vary a
little, nothing to worry about.

FWIW, I have Vcore in BIOS set to 1.675V for my over clocked 2800+
Barton and Asus PCProbe, BIOS, MBM 5, all say it's around 1.744V.
This is on an Asus A7N8X v2.00 Std.

Thank you for your answers.

Now, i know that i m not the only one
to have this issue.

I posted here because with my old motherboard , I had
between 1.63 and 1.68V when i set the voltage at 1.65V !!

But i m very pleased with my a7n8x otherwise, it s a good card.
