Thread kill filed FW's and SB are features that have to be both enabled in the AGP card and the BIOS, AS WELL AS having support in software (chipset drivers, video drivers) to work correctly. Many AGP card BIOS's come with one or both of them disabled. VGA Bios utilities sometimes allow you to modify them and reflash. |

Enabling Fast Writes by force with some tweak-util on my GF3 Ti200 just makes games run a little bit slower. SBA enabled the whole system crashes after a few seconds I start a 3D-application. So no reason to keep those enabled here... Rivatuner says that my MB supports both functions, but GF3 Ti200 doesn't. Funny, if someone's normal (older) GF3 supports those? |
