Default Problem Abit AN52

Have a problem with a new computer. Abit AN52 motherboard. Computer ran
fine for about a month then suddenly died. As soon as I hit the power
switch it immediately stops. The fans try to spin up for about a half
second, then nothing. Have tried resetting jumpers, checking connections,
etc, but no luck. With the power supply on there is one red LED glowing on
the motherboard. Nothing else. All parts are new. Any ideas what might be
happening here? Thanks.
