Long story short. Abit USA RMA trying to rip me off.

They won't get away with it, but they are trying.

I'd like to write a note to the big boys and let them know thier RMA
dept in the USA is suspect.

Need a good email address, can't find anything suitable on the web
site.

I returned product to them in a single box , they signed for it ,
and are claiming only a partial return. It's a lie.

Oh yeah, its been 5 months and only now are they even saying what
the problem is. I tried to contact them long ago , and they did not
even have the decency to reply.

Avoid ABIT.

Well I don't think much of Abit either.. I bought a barebones system from
Tigerdirect with an Abit AX8 mobo. It was dead when I got it.. The PCI-E
slot didn't work. So Tiger gave me a RMA on it and the next AX8 worked
except it can't see sata2 drives. I think it's a VIA chipset issue. It is a
SATA 2 motherboard. I jumpered the WD 250gig to sata1 and it saw the drive
and formatted it, but on reboot it looses the drive. I don't think i'll buy
an Abit again.
