67.03 - WHQL ???
Anyone know or can give an educated guess as to how long before we see a
WHQL version of the 67.03 drivers ? I intend to build my new PC this weekend and want the most stable driver for my new MSI 6800 PCI-E card. Cheers |

I have honestly never seen a direct link between WHQL certification and
"stability." Some of the MOST stable and problem free drivers I've used in the past have been non-WHQL beta releases-- which ironically I upgraded to from WHQL certified drivers in order to solve problems with certain apps and games. Remember that there have been plenty of "official" nvidia drivers that were never WHQL certified, and plenty of "beta" drivers that WERE certified. Remember also that a lot of the "official" driver releases from card manufactures are non-WHQL beta drivers. If there is a reason you want to use the 67.03 drivers instead of the currently official 66.93's, you should just go ahead and use them. Larry "NDF" wrote in message ... If Microsoft tells you a driver is stable, you believe it?
WHQL means dick-all unless you are a corporate system admin. -- "War is the continuation of politics by other means. It can therefore be said that politics is war without bloodshed while war is politics with bloodshed." "NDF" wrote in message ...
