Default Please Help: Event Viewer states that PCIide Failed to Load

07-12-04
I would like some help with this one please.
Whenever i take a look at the Windows XP Pro SP1 Event Viewer i see the
following errer under the System tab:
The following boot-start system-start driver(s) failed to load: PCIide
Event ID: 7026
This happens at every boot-up.
My system is an HP Pavilion 553x. Here are some links to my system specs and
my motherboard:
System specs:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...ame= bph07951

My Mothboard specs:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...ame= bph07845

The system has been modified (since purchase) in this way:
Added 1 80gig 7200rpm Maxtor HDD
Added 2 sticks of PC2100DDR 512mb = 1gig
Added 1 DVD (-R/RW / +R/RW)

My system is running Windows XP pro SP1 (With All Updates as of 07-12-04)
Please Help with this if you can. I've searched yahoo and google (google
groups) with nothing comming from it. I've never run into a problem like
this one before.

I would go to Intel's web site and download the chipset drivers for the
845GL chipset, and Intel application accelerator.

All can be found here for your board - http://tinyurl.com/d7hd
