Prolink importers UK? (I`ll try again.) ;o)
Looks like this guy is sort of clueless. You mentioned that the place you
bought it from was closed, so he recommends you return it there; then he's like a broken record with the Taiwan thing. Have you searched for "ProLink" on the web (don't mean to ask an insulting question) or tried something like www.prolink.co.uk or www.prolink-uk.com or the likes? Ron "Loz H" wrote in message ... Second attempt. Grrrrrr Outlook Distress... ;o) Evening folks. I`m trying to find out who handles Prolink in the UK, or at least Europe so I can RMA a faulty GF4Ti4200 to them. The shop where I originally purchased the card appears to have closed down, and so far any enquiries to the company have been less than helpful. I have yet to receive a reply from the Taiwan main offices, and the only other contact I can find, which is Peter Fan of Prolink USA has not been much use. For example, heres the email conversation I have had with Peter of Prolink USA to date. I have tried to remain polite, yet so far he appears to be as much use as a chocolate teapot... Email all top posted, start from bottom and work your way up Just keep on sending them the e-mail. Thanks again for the swift reply. As a final request, can you confirm that the contact email addresses on the Taiwan website are valid ? As before I have yet to recieve a reply from them, either from my own emails or from the ones that you had thoughtfully CCed on to them for me. Cheers, Loz H peter wrote: We do not in that area. Your right contact is our Taiwan office. Please contact them directly. As stated in my first email the business where I purchased it from has since closed down, hence my original request for information pertaining to any main importers/suppliers in the UK where I can RMA the card as per the manufacturers warranty. Also, 4 emails later to the Taiwan office has yet to have any effect, as so far only you have replied to my emails. Do you have any internal contact with any of the staff of Prolink Taiwan, and if so could you please contact them on my behalf, as so far trying through the stated contact emails on their webpage has yet to have any effect. Cheers, Loz H peter wrote: Same. Or better try where you purchased from. I have tried to email the Taiwan office on numerous occasions, and as yet have had no reply from them. Could you please advise on what I should try next? I recently purchased one of your GF4Ti4200 video cards (MVGA-NVG28A) from a local retailer here in the UK. Since, the card has gone faulty (flashing characters/corrupted graphics on BIOS screen, unusable in windows) and the retailer that I purchased the card from has closed business. I believe it is still guaranteed under the manufactures warranty, and I`m enquiring on how to return it to you for replacement. So, a couple of questions. Is there an official importer/distributor here in the UK, and if so could you please provide me with the contact details so I can begin the procedure. Failing that, what other options do I have, and could you please inform me of them. Cheers in advance for your time, Loz H |
