Nero - don't finalize after buning from image

How can I burn in Nero 5.5.10 an image file into a CD-R(W) without
finalizing it? It worked in 5.5.10.0 (and probably in older versions)
but not in 5.5.10.2x and newer. I select FileBurn Image, open the
image file then on the Burn tab the Finalize CD option is greyed out.

I need this because I want to copy a CD Extra (CD-Enhanced) type of
CD. I grabbed the audio content using EAC (created a wav and a cue
file), then I grabbed the data track using Nero (Save Track in nrg
format).

In previous versions I could do it only in the following way: first
the cue+wav had to be "converted" into nrg as I discovered that Nero
didn't enable the Finalize CD option for cue+wav, only for nrg. So I
choose Image Recorder instead of my actual burner and "burned" the
cue+wav image. This created an nrg. Then I choose FileBurn Image and
first burn the nrg image with the audio tracks with option Finalize CD
deselected, then the nrg image containing the datatrack, now with
Finalize CD. Note: this way uses double HD space for the 2 images.

So, this is how I did in previous versions, but newer versions don't
enable it.

Is this a bug, or a feature?

(OK, I can just copy the CD with Nero, but I rather use EAC for all
audio ripping to make exact audio copies).
