GeForce 7300GT vs GeForce 6150 video
I've got a computer with nVidia 6150 onboard video. I need a little
faster video response to play Flight Simulator 2004 with the better quality video settings. I have a large LCD monitor and want to use it at its native resolution of 1400 X 1050. Would also like to use our LCD HDTV with a resolution of 1366 x 768. Haven't checked if that's an option in FS2004. If not a 7300GT then what would I need? Rest of system is a Athlon 64 3700 San Diego, WD 250gb w/16mb cache drive, and 1 GB of memory. |

You can get a 7600GT PCIe from Newegg for around $110. For any flight simulator I'd start with the 7600GT and work up. |

I upgraded my computer from the same onboard video you have to a 7300GT. It increased my benchmark score in a graphics test by a factor of five. Made me happy, but I'm sure a faster card can make you even happier as long as you can meet the specs the card asks for. |
