What type of memory needed in Armada 1592?
I'm going to expand my laptop's memory and I'm not sure what memory chip I need. Should I buy 128MB SODIMM EDO or 128MB SODIMM SDRAM? It's written in Manual that my notebook (Armada 1592DT) requires EDO DRAM but I've heard that some motherboards accept both types (EDO and SDRAM). I'm not sure if SDRAM SODIMM will work. I hope somebody will help me. -- fabrice |

These types of memory may have the same form factor, so you should go to the Hewlett-Packard memory configuration page or use one from the major vendors such as Kingston, Crucial or Micron to make sure that you have the right part number. You can then search for those part numbers with Google to get the best prices. -- Earl F. Parrish |

Have to be Kingston. Crucial/Micron no longer carries EDO SODIMMs.
