Default Asus V9900/TD GeforceFX 5800 128MB w/ TV-Out, DVI

Asus V9900/TD GeforceFX 5800 128MB w/ TV-Out, DVI

It's the non-pro. The vendor's web site shows a
different looking card:

http://www.nintek.com.au/x/scripts/p...?idProduct=594

Than the manufacturer's:

http://www.asus.com/products/vga/v9900/overview.htm

I assume the former is the older reference card. Other than the
cooling, can I expect any differences? What about the noise level?

1st PCI slot will be empty anyway so size isn't an issue.

BTW, I can get this card (the older design) for $250 US. Is that an
acceptable price?

Thanks.
