Canon are taking it in as a hardware fault - probably the print head.

Thanks for all your suggestions.

I had a problem and after badgering Canon they gave me the direct number to
their service centre.

After a quick call explaining the problem, they asked me to send in a copy
of my receipt, and sent me out a replacement head within three days.

What a difference it was talking to people who knew what they were doing, as
opposed to the front line Cannon staff.

Hi Sleeper Man.

Yes, tried that.

Wont let me go over the MAX 118mm

Even tried with a game cheat tool, to force the numbers up.

Oh well, I'll just have to keep trying.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Charlie.

That seems like the only solution at the moment. One problem though.. When
printing to the CD TRAY will that not cause the printer to default to the CD
mode?

Even if this were not the case, for me at least it would be a nightmare to
align it up.

Cheers

Whose busting your chops.

I have not even got to the alignment stage yet (And yes I will spend the
time on it) as I still need to force the printer to print to the CD TRAY
when I have A4 paper selected.

119mm can be done using Nero CoverDesigner. Email me if you need it.

The real question I would like to have answered is.... Is there any way to
add just 1mm to the MAX Diameter of a printable disc to make it 119mm?

Hope this helps someone
