geforce fx5200 vs geforce 3ti200

.be... Hello! I have both these cards and I was wondering which one of those is the best? These are both Aopen branded and both 128Mb ram versions. Just want to keep the fastest card and sell the slowest. Is there a (benchmarking) comparision between different kinds of Nvidia cards (with the FX series included)?? Thanks! Kind regards, Hasj Pee Hiya I can't talk from full experience as I have never owned a FX5200 but I have used plenty of systems with them on. Many would say that the 5200 is better due to it's Direct X 9 support but to be honest this is irrelevant at the moment given pratically nothing is using it. If you are planning on upgrading your card 12 months down the line or so then I would advise you to stick with the Ti200. I made the mistake once of changing mine for a MX440 and couldnt change back quick enough. The Ti200 is a solid little card. As well as all the benchmarking results it can acheive you can tell it is stil in demand just by looking on eBay at the prices people are wanting for them. Yeah sure the 5200 has all this so many million this and so many million that but from actual gaming experience I found the Ti200 far better, more stable and a good all rounder inthe gaming circuit. To this day they cannot get the 5200 to work properly on Command & Conquer Generals, some of the infantry units are not being rendered - they are there, you can see the footprints and you can tell them what to do, but you just can;t see them lol I imagine if you trawl around on game reviews you find other games with problems with the 5200 Stick to the Ti200, especially if you are going to upgrade once more DX9 games are available Daniel |

i had both the gf fx 5200 and the gf 3 ti 200 and the 5200 was slightly
faster. now i only have the 5200 in back up sys so that shuld tell you what one to keep. its not a good gameing card but its a great card for dual monitors and everyday use. if you game sell both and get a ati 9600 or fx 5600 both are mid range cards good for games. as for benchmarking do it your self -- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- FIGHT BACK AGAINST SPAM!
