Default P4 2.8c compared to AMD CPU

I have run Intel for a number of years, and have begun to do more gaming
with my PC., For the sake of comparisons, what AMD CPU would I need to go to
to reach the P4 2.8c speed? I use ASUS boards, so I would stay with them.

Thanks
