Default Giving Powerpoint it's own video card

We just put a 32in lcd in the lobby and connected it to a nearby
computer. The computer had an onboard nvidia 6100, so we bought a pci-e
nvidia 6200 for the 32in lcd to use. We can output the powerpoint to
the 32in just fine. Problem being, that when someone uses the computer
and it's local monitor, it disrupts the powerpoint. We tried to give
the powerpoint it's own user account and use fast user switching in xp
to seperate it, but alas xp doesn't seperate the displays. What is my
solution, is there something i need to configure w/ nview, do i need to
get a dual head card? or do i just need to get it it's own computer?
Thanks
Brian

What you want to do requires a separate computer.

Does it have to be powerpoint? i.e., are you projecting just static slides,
or do you have animations etc? If you are just showing static slides, you
may try exporting them as images, and try using a slideshow viewer launched
on the second display, which MAY not be interrupted by the activity on the
second display.

Just an idea, you need to try, and you may need to try a few programs until
you may find one that can do this.

Good luck.

What if you switch things around and drive the 32" LCD with the onboard
6100, and let the 6200 drive the local display? Must the LCD take a digital
DVI signal?
