Default 7NNXP Modem Woes

Anyone have a modem installed in their GA-7NNXP? If so, which
PCI slot are you using? And, is it working reliably?

I've tried every PCI slot and have found that my USR will not pass a
modem diagnostic no matter which slot the modem is plugged into.

Currently, I have the modem plugged into PCI slot #5. It appears to
function OK (I can dial out), but it fails the diagnostic check and
none of the USR software can locate the modem (i.e. I cannot flash my
modem's BIOS to v92 for example).

Help!

Please send your reply to

Thanks,
Dale
