*** Can I use a Gigabyte Radeon w/p4p800e-dlx?
Hi folks,
I am thinking about putting a Gigabyte Radeon 9600xt on a p4p800e-dlx motherboard but I need to know if they are compatible. I ask because the p4p800 manual says that this board only supports 1.5V AGP cards and I cannot locate any info on the Gigabyte board's voltage (it is an 8X AGP board). Does anyone know whether the Gigabyte is 3.3 or 1.5V? Are all 8x AGP boards 1.5V? Has anyone used this video card on a p4p800e-dlx? Thanks, Zag |

Most current 8x video cards use 0.8V.

Most current 8x video cards use 0.8V. Just so the original poster knows, AGP 4x = 1.5v. The 9600XT will work just fine, it's compatible with several modes. -Slash -- "Ebert Victorious" -The Onion |
