Default SLOT FAN ERROR DETECTED

i have a proliant ML370

i restarted it and got the following message

1601 I/O SLOT FAN ERROR DETECTED
then it counts down to restarting.

no keyboard or mouse access also

all fans seem to be working fine, what else could it be
