Dell Monitor 21" P1130

Hi,

Received my Dell P1130 21" monitor yesterday. It had brightness and clarity
issue. I couldn't figure out why it's so bad. I get a headache looking at it
for more than 5 minutes. Had to change back to my few year old P1110.

Today, I had another go, headache again. I had a look at the back of the
monitor and the answer was crystal clear. Made in Mexico. The P1110 was made
in Japan.

Interestingly, the P1130 doesn't have as much color correction feature as
the P1110.

Anyone know if the Sony G520 is still made in Japan?

I managed to look at 3 other P1130 in a workplace and they are all inferior
in picture quality to the Jap made Sony G500 and Dell P1110 in the same
place which were 2-3 years older.

Gonna return mine and see where the G520 is made and go from there.

Chances are any Sony you buy in the U.S. will be made in Mexico. My E440
19-inch monitor came from their plant there as did my 20-inch
television. Are you sure you have the resolution set correctly? There is
nothing wrong with either of my Sony products coming from their Mexico
plant.

Nah, I'm very specific and know about everyone function of the monitor.

Maybe it was just a bad one.. but I'm gonna get the G520 instead. It's made
in Japan. I don't wanna go throught a few mexican ones just to find a good
one..
