Default Maximum Boot Device Size P600

The P600 controller has a strange configuration option for each logical
volume that is used as a boot device. Basically you can choose between
disabling the maximum boot device size, in which case the boot device is
limited to 4GB or enabling maximum, in which case you are limited to 8GB.

Our W2K3 64 bit installer didn't observe that limitation and made the boot
device run at 68GB, and it seems to work. Is the 8GB limitation strictly
for DOS and earlier versions of Windows?

Yes, its for older versions of windows, and other old operating systems. Its
there for legacy compatability, and can be safely ignored with any MS OS
newer than NT4.0.
