Help. Switched To ATI MMC 9.13 & No Video Soap
I'm an ATI AIW X800XT ownder and was using an older version of
MMC. Now after I installed the new drivers and MMC, I don't see any video soap. Video soap was something you could set when editing or creating a recording scheme for Personal Video Recorder. Now it's not there. Does anyone else have this problem? Thanks, John |

Help. Switched To ATI MMC 9.13 & No Video Soap
Others have reported similar problems and complaints and
issues with MMC 9.13. I'm using a new version of CAT software/drivers, version 6.2, and works fine. But am still using MMC version 9.03, and everything works fine, after some initial tweaking and learning. VideoSoap appears to work "as advertised." You might want to consider going back to a version of MMC from 9.06 or earlier. Everyone I've talked to on this newsgroup say the 9.06 or earlier provides the features most people want. Good luck, sorry I wasn't much help. Gary ============ John Slade wrote: I'm an ATI AIW X800XT ownder and was using an older version of MMC. Actually 9.13 is more stable when it comes to recording long shows. It just doesn't have the quality after video soap smoothes it out. I think I'll go back to 9.03 and see how that does. Damn, it would seem a big company like ATI would have better software. Thanks for the help. John |
