*Epson 950/960 and Mac OS X

Anybody using an Epson 950 (or 960 in the US) together with Mac OS X?
I have read earlier about problems with that but not clear statements
that it is now working also with borderless printing and rollpaper.
Experiences are thankfully most welcome.

I plan to use the printer with my iMac G3 400 and Photoshop Elements
and iPhoto. Since I do not yet have a printer I am wondering if I can
get several smaller pictures on a A4 paper? I would like to use matte
paper and Epsons matte heavyweight seems to be made only in A4?

The Epson 950/960 seems to give the best prints with some competition
from Canon i950 which is faster but not as good?

To get best results I should stick with Epson ink and paper even
though it is rather expensive?
I also should use the printer at least once a week to prevent it from
clogging?
