Default OEM GF4MX440 board & AGP8X

Hi!

I have this nvidia GeForce 4 MX 64MB, DVI card
(AGP- bus, only DVI-connector)

There´s no manufacturer marked on the card, only the following codes:
S26361-D1592-V64 GS2
Mat. -Nr: 10600319427

(With that S26361- code, Google finds plenty of Fujitsu-Siemens-
parts.. But not this one)

Now, I installed it to my primary computer, wich has MSI KT4V- Mobo.
Worked fine. Driver info sayed that the card is MX440, with AGP 8X.

Then, as I got better card for that computer, I took this one out and
tryed to install it to other motherboards..
No good. Picture on Dos- mode is ok, but higher resolutions..

Is it possible, that this graphics card is somehow locked to AGP8x, and
only works on motherboards that support it?
