Default Geforce FX 5900 for $169.00 -- is this for real ???

Is this legitimate, or is this some lower level 5900 card (ie., xt or SE
something like that).

Is BFG a good brand for the 5900? Here is the link:

It looks for real, but the cheapest shipping option is $14.95, so it may not
be quite as good as it looks, but still fairly good.

I ordered one from here. http://www.buyxtremegear.com/bfg5900128.html
Their ad specifically notes the speeds as regular 5900. The SE/SP/XT
has slower clocks. Check out the price he

Yes, but SE/SP are normal non-Ultra models, while XT is REALLY slow.

MSI SP is clocked slower and has slower ram than their plain normal
non-Ultra MSI 5900. SP version has 2.8ns RAMs and the memory clock was
@ 750MHz while the TD was @ 2.6ns for 850MHz and Ultra @ 2.2ns for
850MHz

Ah, okay, but those 5900 cards (SP/SE) still beat Radeon 9700PRO, don't
they?

No. The 9700 Pro beats the 5900 SE/SP/XT in most games by a little. It
really depends on the game though.
