Overclockrd XP1700 worth upgrading?

Hi all

At the moment I'm running a 1700 @ 2.2GHz (11 x 200, 1.65 v) on a GA-7N400
Pro which I'm pretty pleased with. As I'm already running at 400 MHz DDR I'm
not sure just getting a 333 MHz or 400MHz FSB CPU would give me much of a
performance increase over my current CPU?

However, would the extra cache of a newer CPU, and the higher speed, provide
much more of a performance increase over my current set-up.

BTW my OCZ PC3200 doesn't like doing anything over 200 MHz on either this
MoBo or an Abit NF7 v2.0 board (even if I adjust voltages etc.).

Sounds like you're facing both a cpu and memory upgrade. I'd wait for
athlon64 and see how that does. I'm also running a 1700+ @ 2.3ghz and will
wait til next summer, when pci-x and 90nm athlon64s are out.
