Default Prices of computers in Australia compared to Hong Kong

Is it going to be cheaper to buy a PC in Hong Kong and take it there or
buy it in Australia on arrival?

Just guessing, not knowing Australia: But I'd suspect it would be a lot
less *hassle* (especially with customs) to buy it on arrival.

Knew that... but furnitures and clothes are too to be shipped there
anyway. So...

Are you going to post malfunctioning parts back to Hong Kong for
warranty? If you'd prefer to avoid that, then buy in Australia.

I don't remember the line voltage in Hong Kong, but the voltage is Australia
is 240V. Make sure that you have compatibility.

Don't forget the shipping charges.
Since the computer-sellers sent them by the container-load, it probably
costs them a lot less.

There are computer markets where you can buy the latest PCs and
components:

http://www.computermarkets.com/

The majority of vendors are Chinese.

For retail price comparisons (usually much higher prices) try ...

Otherwise drop me a line via email and let me know what prices are
like at your end.

Did you know that Australia has a water shortage problem caused by an epic
drought? This has dramatically pushed up the prices of food.

Australia doesn't need any more people, perhaps you might like to
reconsider coming.

Perhaps you would consider leaving in order to permit someone who hasn't
completely buggered up the place have a go at doing a better job
