Samsung Syncmaster 710N - how to tilt it ?
Hi,
Can somebody tell me HOW to tilt this monitor ? http://www.samsung.com/fi/products/m...m_710n_eng.pdf The brochure says it can tilt from 3 to 22 degrees, but I can't move it at all using 'reasonable' strength. Is there someting to unlock/lock the tilt position ? Thanks. fu2: alt.comp.hardware |

Unquote. |

Push top back and pull bottom out while also maintaining some downward force to keep the base on the desktop.........you have probably got a stiff hinge.....a little more umph is required. |

Is there someting to unlock/lock the tilt position ? I had the same trouble with my Syncmaster 930B. The answer was to grab both of the lower corners of the monitor (with your thumbs in front), and tilt it back from the straight vertical position. http://erms.samsungusa.com/customer/.../faqs_view.jsp |

This link gives me an "internal server error", probably because some session variables/cookies are missing on my side. Thanks.. |

Push at the top and DON'T pull at the bottom. Placing hands at the lower corners of the monitor, with thumbs in front pointing up, works fine. Gently pull out while applying inward pressure with your thumbs. |
