Default Using LDAP

I'm not sure if this is the right newsgroup to post this question to
.... if it isn't, could you please tell me where I should go [and don't
try to be funny ]

I installed thunderbird 1.0.7 recently and I'm trying to figure out
how to use LDAP ... I have the "use my global LDAP server
preferences" radio button selected. I still can't use the LDAP server
because I don't know where it is ... it doeesn't show up in the
address book. Can anyone help a rookie here?

This is a hardware group for the AMD K7 Thunderbird cpu core. You might
try mozilla.org, assuming you're talking about the mail client software.

Links to the Netscape/Mozilla/Firefox/Thunderbird newsgroups:

They're on a secure server, use Thunderbird.
