Default DL580 Blown fuse

Just a side note on the DL580's. got two a few weeks ago and had funky
problems powering up and never booted. Turned out to be blown fuses on the
main boards. Both were surface mount type fuses but were socketed. Replaced
them an worked fine. The only reason I note it, most are not aware it
exists.

hrmmmm, interesting. Thanks for the tip. Im sure there are others (myself

I had no idea that there were fuses on the mainboard. I have replaced
soldered-in fuses in ProLiant power supplies...bu a fuse on the
mainboard?
