Mystery Folder 7ed1x6bd4bb6xec1d2841cca98341x - Redux
So we had the discussion about these temp folders - mine is created by
installing .NET Framework 3.5. But what is the logic about where these folders go? I finally got around to installing .NET 3.5 on a second computer and this temp folder was created on the H: drive (!?). The first computer had it on the C: drive (logical enough). This second box has 2 hard disks. The first is divided into Primary C: Primary D: and Extended with Logicals F:, G:, and H: The second disk is divided into Primary E: (Swap Disk), and Extended with Logicals I:, and J:. So why H? Is there some logic to Window's choice? (XP-SP3) |
