flash drives
I just got a free 16 MB flash drive at a trade show. It has no
markings other than the logo of the company giving it out as a promotion. I am on Windows 98SE. The driver download recommended with it just doesn't seem to be working. How can I tell which driver I should download from a search off the web. Thanks a lot. |

For the best USB flash drive, I have always seen SanDisk MiniCruzer at
lowest price. 256MB is a good amount, low price, plenty of space. Aaron |

I picked up a 128mb USB 1.1 PNY drive for $20 after rebate about a
year ago (tigerdirect.com) and have seen 128mb drives for as little as $15. Note that shipping tends to add a bit to the price; since I purchased other parts at the same time, I didn't figure that in. 128mb takes care of 99% of my file needs. For the difference in price between a 256mb flash drive, and for that other 1% of the time, you can pick up a used 3~6 gb laptop hard drive and a USB external case. |
