Default Can enabling AGP Fast Write on a AGP card which does not support this feature damaged the AGP card ?

I have installed an Msi GeForce 4 MX 440 (4X) AGP card on a Msi combo
motherboard (VIA KM266 chipset). I had enabled the AGP Fast Write
feature from the motherboard for 2-3 days even though this card didn't
support AGP Fast Write. After enabling and disabling this feature, I
find that there is some minor problem with the refresh rate. Is there
any chance that my graphics card got damaged? Thanks
