Default networking

I have 2 computer on home network. On windows XP PRO it look like this:

entire network
- MS Terminal Services
- MS Windows Network
work group family
computer #1
work group family
computer #2
-Web Client network

How it come that I have 2 workgroups?
Could I remove one and how?
