I suggest you take your own advice and not speak to Hank if he bothers you.

Also, don't take things too personally, the anonymity and lack of personal
contact can make people behave and interpret things in extraordinary ways!

The way it works is that newsgroups are named, they have topics. Particular
things that you should talk about.
