Default P4P800 & Radeon LE 32M DDR

| I am thinking about building a new system. I have a Radeon 32 meg DDR
| LE video card. I think it is 2x AGP, but could even be 1x. Will this
| card work with a P4P800. I am trying to keep the cost down as much as
| possible. Thanks,
|

The Radeon LE is 4X, actually. That's a great budget card. I loved using
them in builds when they were available. They were highly overclockable,
especially using RAM heatsinks and an extra fan (some companies actually
sold cooling kits specially made for the Radeon LE). Used to cost me
only $59 and with tweaks some could run neck and neck with a full Radeon
DDR.

There is a registry tweak that enables the Hyper-Z feature missing from
the LE. I used to package them with Radeon Tweaker for the customers who
were into games and overclocking. If I can find the additional info in
my bookmarks, I'll pass it on.

Paste this URL back together in your browser for some comments on the
Radeon LE DDR.

Thanks for the help. I guess its worth a try with the P4P800. That will
save me some money for a while.
