Default Spybot SD won't go into main screen

I can't seem to get my copy of spybot SD to open back into the main
screen.

It starts when I click on the shortcut then scans and then ends with no
main screen. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it and it still won't go back
to it's default settings.

Is there any registry entries or files still left that should be deleted?

I've removed all the entries I can find by searching the registry for spybot
but even that's not fixed the problem.
