You need the power amplifier. The only difference, I believe, is that the
E153FP, E173FP, and E193FP need to be plugged into a "Power Amplifier",
hence the "PA" in the "AS500 PA" name that is sold for those models. I
haven't seen ONLY the Power Amplifier sold on eBay, although I did not look
on Dell.com.
